by admin on Jun.30, 2009, under laptop batteries

The Lenovo ThinkPad T60 series is the first ThinkPad to be released with the new Intel Core Duo processor. The ThinkPad T-series can be thought of as the flagship of the ThinkPad brand, it’s squarely targeted towards business users and professionals. Durability, security, usability and performance are all important characteristics of the ThinkPad T-series. The T60 carries on these traditions with a jump in performance from the most recent T43 and some changes to configuration options available and the port and keyboard layout.

Following are the specs:

• Model #: 2623-D3U

Despite the small weight the T60 is equipped with a completely integrated battery of 5200 mAh capacity. This battery power combined with a perfect energy management brought excellent runtimes. However it has to be mentioned, that the maximum brightness is dimmed automatically in battery operation and the brightness can’t be increased manually to the level of AC operation. If that should disturb you, you can change the respective settings (Thinkpad configuration). And you also can change a higher capcity battery. The original battery is 5200, but the replacement battery even is 7200mAh.

If you want to have the battery, you can search it in GOOGLE to find that you think is good for you. There are many choices, I can recommend some for you. Dell inspiron 6400 laptop and battery

by admin on Jun.25, 2009, under laptop batteries

First look at the specs of one system of Dell inspiron 6400:

  • Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T7200 at 2.0 GHz per core.
  • 15.4″ Ultrasharp WSXGA+ display with TrueLife
  • 1GB DDR2 667MHz RAM in dual channel mode
  • ATI X1400 256MB graphics card
  • 120GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive
  • 8X DVD +/- dual layer recorder
  • 9-cell lithium-ion battery
  • Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition
  • Dell Wireless 1500 (802.11n)

Do you want it after you have seen the specs? Now we will introduce more information about the Dell inspiron 6400 laptop computers.

Build & Design

The Inspiron 6400 feels very sturdy. It doesn’t feel flimsy, and doesn’t look like things are going to get loose anytime soon. Opening and closing of the screen is not too loose or too tight. One hand is sufficient enough to move the screen, provided the notebook itself on a stable surface.

The notebook design itself is slightly above average. The silver paint looks very appealing, but not when combined with the white bumpers. I didn’t really like the bumpers, but I guess it looks decent. Overall this laptop can’t compare to the XPS series, but its design is good enough to catch some eyes.

Screen:

The Dell Inspiron 6400 is a 15.4″ screen notebook with the latest Intel processors. The Ultrasharp screen is listed at having significantly higher viewing angle, higher resolution, and slightly higher brightness.  Overall the screen is very sharp with nice saturated colors and high contrast. Buyers seeking a versatile solution with a larger display for mainstream multimedia and productivity tasks should choose this notebook.

Intel Core 2 Duo Processor and Performance / Benchmarks

The Core 2 Duo is fast, no doubt about it.  It appears to be about 10% faster than the proceeding Core Duo.  That’s probably not enough benefit to rush out and get a new processor if you already have Core Duo, but if you’re using a Pentium M machine the extra performance and 64-bit capabilities of the Core 2 Duo might tempt you to upgrade sooner or later.

Are you tempted after reading these? Then look at the battery:

The Battery life on the 6400 also is very respectable. Under normal tasks (WiFi on, 75% brightness, Windows Media Visualizations), the battery lasted about 3 hours and 15 minutes. If you think the run time is still short, you can order the extended capacity replacement battery.  It maybe can help you to run longer.

The specs as listed below:

Battery Type : Li-ion

Voltage : 11.1V

Capacity : 7200mAh

Color : Black

Dimension : 205*72*22.7mm

Net Weight : 542g

The 7200mAh high capacity will give you enough time to do what you want to do. Do you think? In this case, that is a good battery for everyone. It is supplied in USA and UK:
