1 Keep Your CASIO NP-20 Batteries Clean - It’s a good idea to clean dirty battery contacts with a soft,clean and dry cloth. This helps 

maintain a good connection between the battery and your 

portable device.

2 Battery Storage - If you don’t use the CASIO NP-20 battery for a long period, store it in a clean, dry, cool place away from heat and metal

 objects. The batteries will self-discharge during storage; remember stored at about 40% state-of-charge.

3 Exercise Your Battery - Do not leave your battery dormant for long periods of time. We recommend using the battery

 at least once every two to three weeks. If a battery has 

not been used for a long period of time, perform the new battery break in procedure 

described above.

4 Breaking In New Batteries - new CASIO NP-20 batteries come in a discharged condition and must be fully charged before use. It is

 recommended that you fully charge and discharge your new 

battery two to four times to allow it to reach its maximum rated capacity.

5 Do not short-circuit. A short-circuit may cause severe damage to the NP-20 battery.

6 It is normal for a battery to become hot during charging and discharging.

7 Do not drop, hit or otherwise abuse the CASIO NP-20 battery as this may result in the exposure of the cell contents, which are corrosive.

8.Most battery can be fully charged in about 3 hours so do not leave a battery in a charger

 for a long time. 

9.Do not charged to higher voltages than its threshold voltage
